This sword is named after King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who unified Nepal into a single kingdom and laid the groundwork for modern Nepal and beyond. It serves as a tribute to the significant accomplishments of the man who bestowed upon us our identity and the freedom to live a dignified life. The inspiration for this sword comes from the one wielded by King Prithvi Narayan Shah. We meticulously customized and reproduced it based on the original design.

The sword stands out as one of Nepal Hand Crafted’s finest hand-forged swords. The sword’s blade features a curved cutting edge, making it an exceptional brush cutter that effortlessly slices through grass, vines, and foliage. The Sword is a formidable large sword crafted by traditional Nepalese blacksmiths. This sword has a sharp 30-inch blade made of 5160 high-carbon steel. The blade has an upper spine thickness of 6 mm. The blade weight of this sword is about 1060 gm and is perfect for outdoor uses.

The 30” Historic Antique Talwar | King Prithvi Narayan Shah Sword has a handle that measures 4.75 inches in length, providing a secure and comfortable grip for the user. The hidden tang handle made of steel and coated in enamel is equally elegant & beautiful to look at. This great sword is meant to be used single-handedly. It has a loop guard on the handle that provides comfort and allows for increased leverage, making it easier to swing despite its weight. The handle is designed to provide a secure grip that won’t twist or turn in your hand. Additionally, it offers extra hand protection through its steel-reinforced guard.
