It is hand forged by skilled Nepalese blacksmiths from Bhojpure Khukuri Handicraft (BKH). If you’re searching for a traditional Nepalese khukuri then this is one of the best khukuris you can get. This Khukuri has a 14-inch blade made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel with a polished satin finish.
The 14″ Bhojpure Sirupate Kukri | Traditional Kukri | Gurkha Khukuri has a 5-inch long rat tail tang handle made from rosewood (sati saal ) which makes it extremely durable. If you want to switch the rat tail tang design into a full tang simply select the full tang handle option. You can convert the rosewood handle into bone too with a similar option. With an upper spine of 10 mm, a lower spine of 7 mm and with a belly of 4.3 cm, this kukri offers both strength and precision while using it. The handle is ergonomically designed to protect your hand from the extremely sharp edge of the blade when you are using it.
Built with a fusion design of Bhojpure khukuri & Sirupate khukuri, the 14″ Bhojpure Sirupate Kukri | Traditional Kukri | Gurkha Khukuri comes with a beautiful scabbard. The kukri also stands out from others due to one of its unique features – a steel metal chape (Chhapri) fixed at the tip of the scabbard. This feature not only enhances the style of the knife but also gives it a timeless and striking appearance that is unmatched by any other khukuri. The chape is a rare and distinguished feature that adds to the prestige and individuality of the khukuri. The scabbard has a single frog which is a leather loop used to attach it to the belt. This Gurkha Khukuri knife comes with a Uttish wood (Alnus nepalensis) wrapped in water buffalo leather.
The 14″ Bhojpure Sirupate Kukri | Traditional Kukri | Gurkha Khukuri comes with two additional knives, the Karda and Chakmak. The Karda serves as a versatile companion, ideal for skinning animals, opening cans, and cutting fruits. Meanwhile, the Chakmak, a blunt steel, can be used to hone the blade as well as start a camping fire with a spark from a flint.
