The 10.5” Bhojpure Khukuri | Gurkha Kukri is really important for Nepalese farmers and soldiers. It’s one of the nicest-looking Gurkha kukris you can find at Nepal Hand Crafted. Nepal Hand Crafted is one of the best websites to buy real handmade khukuris and other blades like machetes, cleavers, and swords. All of these are designed by our master Mr. Purna B. Bishwokarma from Bhojpure Khukuri Handicraft.
This 10.5” Bhojpure Khukuri | Gurkha Kukri is made by skilled Nepalese blacksmiths from Bhojpure Khukuri Handicraft (BKH). These blacksmiths use old traditional methods and tools to make the blades, just like they’ve been doing for many generations.
The 10.5” Bhojpure Khukuri | Gurkha Kukri has a 10.5-inch blade made from 5160 high carbon steel, which is really strong and extremely durable. The blade has different thicknesses: the upper spine is 10 mm thick, the lower spine is 5 mm, and the belly is 2 inches wide.
The handle of this 10.5” Bhojpure Khukuri | Gurkha Kukri is made to fit your hand perfectly, so it keeps your hand safe from the sharp blade when you use it. The handle is 5 inches long and made from Rhododendron wood, which makes it very durable. If you want, you can change the rat tail tang design to a full tang handle by choosing the full tang option. You can also ask to make the handle longer if needed.
This 10.5” Bhojpure Khukuri | Gurkha Kukri comes with a scabbard made from Uttish wood (Alnus nepalensis) and covered in water buffalo leather. The scabbard has a leather loop called a frog, which you can use to attach it to your belt. It’s specially made for outdoor adventures, household use, and jungle trips. This kukri is great for chopping bones and is a reliable camping tool. The khukuri also comes with a Karda and Chakmak. The Karda is a small, sharp knife that can be used to cut fruits, and vegetables, or open tin cans. The Chakmak is a blunt piece of steel that you can use to sharpen the khukuri blade or make sparks to start a fire.
If you want you can request to customize the khukuri with the provided options above the Add to Cart button.
