The handmade kitchen knife is versatile for various kitchen tasks like effortlessly cutting large steaks, fibrous roots & vegetables. Crafted by our team of skilled traditional Nepalese blacksmiths at our factory in Nepal, it embodies quality and functionality for your culinary needs. Our blacksmiths have been using traditional techniques & mostly traditional tools to forge blades as they have been forged for generations.

Hand forged by master blade-smith Mr. Purna B. Bishwokarma from Bhojpure Khukuri Handicraft (BKH), this knife embodies with it years of experience of our master blade-smith.

The 8” Handmade Kitchen Chef Knife | Rust-Free Knife has an 8-inch long blade. The blade is made from 5160 high carbon steel so it will serve you well for many years & decades to come. The knife has just the right size and shape to be used in the kitchen for various cutting purposes. With a spine of 5 mm & a belly of 5 cm, this knife offers both strength and precision while using it. The knife weighs approximately 280 gm.

The handle of this 8” Handmade Kitchen Chef Knife | Rust-Free Knife is designed to be comfortable, and fit well in your hand. The handle size of the knife is 4.5 inches but if you want to increase the size we can customize it as your choice. Please mention the desired handle size in the Notes section during checkout. Also If you want to convert the rat tail tang design into a full tang simply select the full tang handle option. The handle is made from Indian rosewood.  For protection, it comes with a sheath made from water buffalo leather. With the sheath, the total weight of the kitchen knife is 330 gm.
