13.5” Kalu Pandey Khukuri | Historic Kukri | Tactical Kukri is named after the historic great warrior of Nepal. His name is Kalu Pandey. He was a Nepalese politician and military general appointed Kaji of The Gorkha Kingdom. To this day he is one of the symbols of Nepalese bravery. This khukuri was carried by him in battles during the unification of the Kingdom of Nepal. The blade is generally more curved than other khukuris and has a single cutting edge. Because of the curved blade, it is easy to handle this khukuri as a weapon on the battlefield. 

The 13.5” Kalu Pandey Khukuri | Historic Kukri | Tactical Kukri is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and functionality made in Nepal. This tactical kukri knife is handcrafted by skilled Nepalese blacksmiths who have inherited their blade-forging prowess across generations. The 13.5-inch long blade is made of 5160 high carbon steel for durability and resilience, with a polished finish. The lower spine measures 4 mm, and the upper spine is 7 mm thick with a belly of 4.6 cm.  The total weight of the kukri along with the scabbard is 700 gm and the blade is 500 gm.

The handle of  13.5” Kalu Pandey Khukuri | Historic Kukri | Tactical Kukri is ergonomically designed to protect your hand from the extremely sharp edge of the blade when you are using it. The khukuri has a 5.5-inch long rat tail tang handle made from rosewood (Sati saal) which makes it extremely durable. If you want to convert the rat tail tang design into a full tang simply select the full tang handle option.

The scabbard has a single frog which is a leather loop used to attach it to the belt.
