This 13” Bhojpure Singha Bir Khukuri | Machete Kukri knife is handmade by skilled Nepalese blacksmiths from Bhojpure Khukuri Handicraft (BKH). The traditional Nepalese blacksmiths forge all blades using traditional methods and tools they have been forged for generations.

The 13” Bhojpure Singha Bir Khukuri | Machete Kukri knife boasts a 13-inch blade forged from 5160 High Carbon Steel, renowned for its durability and strength. With an upper spine of 9 mm, a lower spine of 5 mm and a belly of 6 cm, this kukri offers both strength and precision while using it. This Machete Kukri knife along with its scabbard weighs approximately 850 grams.

The handle of this 13” Bhojpure Singha Bir Khukuri | Machete Kukri knife is ergonomically designed to protect your hand from the extremely sharp edge of the blade when you are using it. The khukuri has a 5-inch long rat tail tang handle made from rosewood (Sati saal) which makes it extremely durable. If you want to convert the rat tail tang design into a full tang simply select the full tang handle option. And also you can request to switch the handle length to make it large too.  The scabbard has a single frog which is a leather loop used to attach it to the belt. 

This 13” Bhojpure Singha Bir Khukuri | Machete Kukri knife comes with a  Uttish wood (Alnus nepalensis) scabbard wrapped in water buffalo leather. Purposefully designed for outdoor expeditions and jungle escapades, this khukuri excels as a bone-chopping tool and a steadfast camping companion. A Karda & Chakmak are included with this khukuri. Karda is a sharp knife that can be used to cut fruits & vegetables, open tin cans, etc. The Chakmak is a blunt steel that can be used to hone the khukuri blade or used to produce sparks for fire with fire steel or flint.
